Being a vegan since February 2019, I have become an unofficial wellness coach to my friends and family over the years. When I went vegan, I knew one other person who followed the same diet recipes as me but I did not have anyone to "coach" me through plant-based during the transition period. It took a lot of counting calories to make sure I had enough and keeping track of my macros. Along this journey, I have learned more about what nutrients I put into my body and how to eat to keep our planet healthy. Transitioning to plant-based can be incredibly challenging and I basically survived off smoothies for the first few months. However, once it becomes a lifestyle you feel so damn good.
This blog isn't just about eating plant-based. That's one part of it but one's journey to wellness can't ignore all the other parts of you. Feeling good encompasses how your soul, mind, and body feel altogether.
